District Students Selected for Leadership

CCISD STUDENTS SELECTED FOR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
League City, Texas- Eight students from CCISD will join the short list of Outstanding Texas Students from across the state to participate in Education in Action’s summer 2007 Lone Star Leadership Academy programs. The following students were selected based on demonstrated academic success and leadership ability, an educator recommendation and involvement in school and community activities:
- Michael Pyle, 5th grade at Brookwood Elementary
- Rebecca Herrod, 5th grade at League City Elementary
- Moriah Hargrove Anders, 6th grade at Seabrook Intermediate
- Michelle Lawarence, 7th grade at Seabrook Intermediate
- Austin Ranna, 6th grade at Seabrook Intermediate
- Kendall Palmer, 5th grade at Wedgewood Elementary
- Alanna Winfield, 6th grade at Westbrook Intermediate
The Lone Star Leadership Academy provides a unique opportunity for outstanding students to learn about the Spirit of Texas.
