Locals Act as Celebrity Waiters for

Longhorn Project Fundraiser

 

League City, TEXAS—Local dignitaries tied on aprons and became celebrity waiters at a recent fund raiser for the Clear Creek Independent School District/NASA Longhorn Project. The project is a part of CASE—Center for Agriculture, Science, and Engineering.

 

The Celebrity Waiter event raised $19,000 April 25 at the Texas Road House in Friendswood. The proceeds will pay for the completion of the aquaculture ponds and expansion of the agricultural component of the project.
