Finding the Fun in Fitness

District hosts second annual Fit Week.

WHO:             Clear Creek Independent School District Physical Education Program

 

WHAT:           Educating students and their parents about the benefits of fitness is as important as teaching arithmetic and spelling. During the second annual Fit Week hosted by Clear Creek Independent School District students and their parents are invited to participate in:

·         Jump Rope for Heart

·         Frisbee Basketball, which involves shooting baskets, adding and making sentences

·         Jurassic Park Tag, which involves teamwork, problems solving strategies and throwing skills (children are the ultimate multi-taskers!)

·         TOT’s precision ball handling they are mini Harlem Globetrotters

·         Diabetes Walk for Life

·         and much, much more!

 

WHEN:           Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, Feb. 11

 

WHERE:         Elementary schools across the District. (Call for times and places.)
