Victory Lake Intermediate Art Students Recognized

Victory Lakes Intermediate School art students Daphne Dodd and William Born received national recognition in the Scholastic Art and Writing awards competition. Dodd’s entry, a combination clay sculpture and an essay titled “The Prey of the Hunt,” captured the Gold Key award. Born’s entry was a mixed media clay mask titled “Primitive Anger” also received the Gold Key award.
Dodd and Born will represent Clear Creek Independent School District with 14 national award winners during an awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York on June 11 through June 12.
