CCISD Hosts First Job Fair

Recently the Clear Creek Independent School District hosted its first teacher job fair. Over 500 educators visited the job fair in hopes of receiving a teaching position in Clear Creek ISD. Some applicants came as far as California and Louisiana to become part of the CCISD staff. CCISD Interim Executive Director of Human Resources Nora Durdin said, “We are looking to fill between 250 to 300 teaching positions for the 2004-2005 school year.”
The job fair provided an opportunity for applicants to meet with school principals and find out more information about the District and its opportunities. “This was our first year to have a job fair and we will definitely make it an annual event,” Durdin said.
