FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

 Clear Brook High School students resumed their regular schedule at 7:30 this morning under the supervision of additional security officers from the Galveston County Sheriff’s Department, the Harris County Sheriff’s Department and the Friendswood Police Department. In addition, Clear Creek ISD administrators and counselors remained on campus to speak with concerned students and parents.

 

Average daily attendance at Clear Brook High School is 97 percent. Today’s attendance was 96 percent. All students and staff returned to school eager to return to their daily schedule and to focus on learning.

 

The Harris County Sheriff’s Department currently is conducting an investigation regarding yesterday’s incident. Details involving the investigation are available through the Harris County Sheriff’s office web site or by calling (713) 755-3647. Any one with additional details about yesterday’s event is being asked to contact the sheriff’s department.
