Polling Places Have Changed For Upcoming Clear Creek ISD Election On May 3, 2003

     There have been some changes in the election for Clear Creek ISD this year.  New voting locations have been identified for use in the May 3, 2003 election for the Board of Trustees and the bond election.  Voting locations have been consolidated on Election Day rather than conducting the election at each of the District’s 22 elementary schools.  Consolidation of voting locations will result in a cost savings and enable the District to ensure an adequate number of judges and clerks.  Additionally, this will be the first time for the District to use electronic voting equipment.  It is important that voters know their precinct number to determine at which location they vote.  Precinct numbers and locations are listed below.  Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to

7 p.m. on Election Day, May 3, 2003.  The following list shows the voting locations, the single member district in which they are located and the precinct numbers for that area:

*  Harris County precinct numbers begin with “0” and include four digits.  Galveston County precinct numbers have only three digits.  Precinct numbers are printed on each individual’s voter registration card.
