CCISD LEADERSHIP HONORED FOR SUPPORT OF MILITARY FAMILIES

League City -- The Department of Defense Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) presented its own 'Patriot Award' to Dr. Smith; Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education, Holly Hughes; and Mossman Elementary Principal, Stephanie McBride, for their exemplary backing of their military employees.
Chief Mark Starck, a former teacher at Mossman Elementary, and Ed White Principal, Captain Matt Paulson, nominated CCISD leadership for their extraordinary support of their service and families. Bill Cyrus, ESGR Eastern Regional Director, also presented Clear Creek ISD with the ESGR's 'Over and Beyond Award'.
The presentations were made during CCISD’s annual Volunteer & Partnership Breakfast on May 4, 2012 at the Nassau Bay Hilton Hotel.
