Academic Accountability Reports

State Accountability Ratings

State accountability ratings are based on a framework of three indexes that are used to evaluate the performance of each public campus and district in the state. The framework includes a range of indicators to calculate a score for each index and enables a thorough assessment of campus and district effectiveness.

Accountability ratings are based on achieving a target established for each performance index.
Index 1: Student Achievement: provides a snapshot of performance across subjects.
Index 2: School Progress: measures year-to-year student progress in reading and mathematics and performance relative to similar districts and campuses.
Index 3: Closing the Gaps: tracks advanced academic achievement of economically disadvantaged students and the lowest performing racial/ethnic student groups.

Five labels are used to rate the overall performance of districts – A Exemplary Performance, B (Recognized Performance), C (Acceptable Performance), D (In Need of Improvement), or F (Unacceptable Performance).
Three labels are used to rate the overall performance of campuses – Met Standard, Met Alternative Standard, or Improvement Required – as determined by the three indexes.

2018 Accountability: Clear Creek ISD earned an A rating and all campuses in the district were rated Met Standard (100%).
