The boundaries of the Clear Creek Independent School District include 110 square miles of the 125 square miles known as the greater Clear Lake area, and/or Clear Lake/NASA area that is situated midway between Houston and Galveston in southern Harris County and northern Galveston County.
The school district encompasses all or portions of more than 11 municipalities and unincorporated areas - Bacliff, Clear Lake City (a part of Houston), Clear Lake Shores, El Lago, Friendswood, Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay, Pasadena, Seabrook, Taylor Lake Village, and Webster - serving a population of more than 100,000 citizens. |
