The Clear Creek Independent School District prides
itself on its long-standing tradition of educational
excellence for all students and exceptional stewardship
of our taxpayers’ dollars. As a testament to
our continuous academic accolades and fiscal management
awards, families move into Clear Creek ISD because
they want and deserve the very best education for
their children.
On average, our school district’s enrollment
has increased between 900 to 1,000 new students each
year, which is equivalent to one intermediate school.
This trend is projected to last through 2020 when
our district reaches build-out. In 14 short years,
our district will be educating more than 52,000 students.
Today, we are serving 35,500 students.

As our district continues to face the many challenges
associated with rapid growth, our Board of Trustees
unanimously called for a bond referendum set for May
12, 2007, in the amount of $183 million to fund:
• Construction of new schools: one high school,
one intermediate school and two elementary schools
• Conversion of two ninth grade centers back
to intermediate schools
• Increasing the number of math and science
classrooms at all high schools (The Texas Legislature
passed a bill in 2006 requiring all students to take
four years of math and science.)
• Adding buses to the bus fleet/replacing aging
buses 23+ years old
• Replacing aged air conditioning systems throughout
the district
• Expanding safety and security equipment throughout
the district
• Replacing roofs throughout the district
We encourage you to read through this pamphlet to learn more about the Bond 2007 package. Citizens
who have additional questions about the Bond 2007
Referendum can contact any Board member or the district’s
administration.
