The philosophy of the Clear Creek ISD Social Studies program is to educate students to think and act responsibility as contributing members of a democratic society.
We must prepare students to reason and evaluate the processes that have developed our society and to view their choices in daily life as those that will affect their future and the future of our world.Our program is committed to providing a K-12 program that builds a foundation in history, geography, economics, government, citizenship, culture, science and technology, society and social studies skills.
These concepts enable our students to understand the importance of patriotism, function in a free enterprise society and appreciate the basic democratic values of our state and nation. |
