Clear Creek ISD receives most of its revenue from local property taxes. Local taxpayers contribute 84.7% of our revenues with state funding contributing another 15.1%. This is a decline in state funding of 1.3% from last year. Since the only real ability to fund enrollment growth is through local funds, it is important to have a rising property tax base to meet the needs. Fortunately, we have experienced a gradual growth in property values that has helped the district fund student growth.

What this Means to You and Your Children

Our district is the Lone Ranger – Clear Creek ISD earned the Texas Education Agency’s Recognized Rating for the tenth year. The Recognized rating is the highest designation earned to date by any school district with more than 25,000 students.

The district received a rating of “Superior Achievement” under Texas’ new Schools FIRST (Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas) program. The Superior Achievement rating is the state’s highest designation and is given to districts that demonstrate an effective and efficient financial management and reporting system.
