Clear Creek ISD receives most of its
revenue from local property taxes. Local taxpayers
contribute 84.7% of our revenues with state
funding contributing another 15.1%. This
is a decline in state funding of 1.3% from last
year. Since the only real ability to fund enrollment
growth is through local funds, it is important
to have a rising property tax base to meet the
needs. Fortunately, we have experienced a gradual
growth in property values that has helped the
district fund student growth. |
