Welcome to one of the highest performing school districts in Texas!
The Clear Creek Independent School District is committed to providing each child a wealth of opportunities to achieve his or her academic and extracurricular goals. The key to our success is found within the halls and classrooms of our 43 schools where teachers and students engage in 21st century teaching and learning.
There is nothing more meaningful in education than to witness a high school graduation, shake a young adult’s hand and give them their ticket to a promising future. I am pleased to report of our 2011 graduates, 91% of them are heading off to higher education or the military. Our academic performance this year is also just as strong with more than 96% of all students passing the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test in Reading, 96% passed social studies, 92% passed mathematics and 93% passed science. These scores outpace the state and national scores. Behind those statistics are amazing stories of courage and self-direction. I have no doubt your child will a have a positive story of his or her own to share by graduation.
